Club Ralley LLC ("Club Ralley," "we," "our," or "us") operates the Ralley mobile application (also known as Club Ralley), our website, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

Club Ralley is a platform designed to help athletes discover communities, connect with other athletes, organize and participate in sporting activities, and build relationships through shared athletic interests.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use Club Ralley.

By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly to us, information generated through your use of the Services, and information collected through third-party services that support our platform.

The categories of personal information we may collect include:

  • Identifiers: such as your name, email address, username, phone number, and profile information

  • Athlete profile information: such as sports played, athletic background, skill level, preferences, and goals

  • Location information: such as the city or region you enter, and venue names or addresses you type when creating or searching for activities

  • Contacts information: if you use our optional Find Friends feature, the names, phone numbers, and email addresses in your device's address book (see Section 5)

  • User-generated content: such as photos, videos, posts, comments, updates, and event information

  • Usage information: such as Ralleys joined, events attended, communities joined, and interactions within the Services

  • Device and technical information: such as device type, operating system, app version, IP address, and performance information

  • Transaction information: if you purchase products, event registrations, subscriptions, or other paid features

2. Information You Provide

When you create an account, build your athlete profile, participate in Ralleys, or interact with other users, we may collect:

  • Name

  • Email address

  • Username

  • Phone number

  • Profile photo

  • Authentication information

  • Date of birth (we collect the month and year only, not the day)

  • City, region, or hometown

  • Sports you play

  • Athletic background

  • Skill level

  • Playing preferences

  • Athletic goals

  • Gender (optional)

  • Social handles you choose to add, such as Instagram or LinkedIn

  • Clubs, teams, or communities you are associated with

This information helps us create your athlete profile, personalize your experience, recommend relevant activities, and connect you with other members of the Club Ralley community.

3. Athlete Profile Information

Club Ralley is built around helping athletes find teammates, communities, and activities that match their interests.

Your athlete profile may include:

  • Sports played

  • Experience and skill level

  • Athletic interests and hobbies

  • Preferred activities

  • Goals and what you are looking for

  • Public achievements or information you choose to share

Athlete information is provided voluntarily by users and is not independently verified by Club Ralley.

We use this information to personalize recommendations, improve matching, and help users discover relevant communities.

4. Location Information

Club Ralley uses location information to help you discover activities, venues, and other athletes near you.

We do not collect your device's precise GPS location, and the Services do not request access to your device's location. Instead, location information comes only from what you provide, including:

  • The city, region, or hometown you enter in your profile

  • Venue names or addresses you type when creating or searching for an activity

When you enter a venue or address, we may convert it into map coordinates using third-party mapping and geocoding services in order to display it on a map. You can change the location information you have entered at any time. If you choose not to provide location information, certain features such as nearby recommendations may not work as well.

5. Contacts and Find Friends

Club Ralley includes an optional Find Friends feature that helps you discover people you already know who are on Club Ralley.

If you choose to use this feature and grant contacts permission, the app reads the names, phone numbers, and email addresses in your device's address book. Before any of this leaves your device, the app converts each phone number and email address into a hashed value (a one-way scrambled fingerprint). We send only these hashed values to our servers, never the actual phone numbers or email addresses of your contacts, and we compare them against hashed values for existing Club Ralley accounts to find people you may know.

Hashing means we do not receive the plaintext phone numbers or email addresses of the people in your address book. It is a safeguard, not full anonymization: because phone numbers are drawn from a limited range of possibilities, a hashed value can in principle be traced back to the original number, so we treat any matches we find as personal information.

We use this information only to find matches. We do not build a stored record of your contacts, we do not add your contacts to your profile, and we do not use them to create new accounts. Using Find Friends is entirely optional: it only runs if you open the feature and grant permission, and you can decline or revoke contacts access at any time through your device settings.

6. User Content

Club Ralley allows users to create and share content, including:

  • Profile information

  • Photos and videos

  • Posts

  • Comments

  • Athletic updates

  • Event information

  • Direct messages to other users

  • Other content submitted through the Services

You control what information you choose to share.

Information shared through public portions of the Services may be visible to other Club Ralley users.

By submitting content through Club Ralley, you grant Club Ralley a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute that content solely as necessary to operate, improve, and promote the Services.

You retain ownership of content you submit.

7. Information About Your Activity

We may collect information about how you interact with Club Ralley, including:

  • Ralleys you create

  • Ralleys you join

  • Events you attend

  • Communities or rosters you join

  • Connections with other users

  • Interactions with posts or content

  • Features you use within the application

This information helps us operate the platform, personalize recommendations, and improve the Services.

8. Device and Technical Information

When you use Club Ralley, we may automatically collect technical information, including:

  • Device type

  • Operating system

  • App version

  • IP address

  • Browser information

  • Usage information

  • Crash reports

  • Performance data

We use this information to maintain security, troubleshoot issues, analyze performance, and improve the Services. Some of this information is collected through analytics and error-monitoring providers described in Section 12.

9. How We Use Your Information

We may use information we collect to:

  • Create and manage your account

  • Build and personalize your athlete profile

  • Recommend Ralleys, athletes, venues, and communities

  • Enable social networking and matching features

  • Facilitate event participation

  • Communicate with you about your account

  • Send updates, announcements, and community communications

  • Provide customer support

  • Improve and develop our Services

  • Monitor security and prevent abuse

  • Analyze usage trends

  • Comply with legal obligations

10. Information Visibility and Sharing

Club Ralley is designed to help athletes connect.

Depending on your privacy settings and activity within the Services, other users may see information you choose to share, including:

  • Name

  • Username

  • Profile photo

  • Sports interests

  • Skill level

  • Athlete profile information

  • Public posts

  • Hosted or joined Ralleys

  • Community participation

You may manage certain privacy preferences through available account settings.

11. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information in the following circumstances:

Service Providers. We share information with trusted third-party providers that help us operate Club Ralley. These providers process information on our behalf and are limited to using it as necessary to provide their services. They include, for example:

  • Supabase: hosting, database, authentication, and file storage

  • Stripe: payment processing

  • PostHog: product analytics

  • Sentry: error and performance monitoring

  • Expo, together with the Apple and Google push-notification services: delivering push notifications

  • Twilio: text-message (SMS) notifications

  • Resend: transactional email

  • Google and OpenStreetMap: mapping and geocoding of addresses you enter

Legal and Safety Reasons. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable laws, respond to legal requests, protect the rights, safety, and security of Club Ralley, our users, or others, and investigate fraud, abuse, or security issues.

Business Transfers. If Club Ralley is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar transaction, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

12. Payments and Transactions

If you use paid features, event registrations, subscriptions, or other transactions, payment information is processed by our third-party payment provider, Stripe.

Club Ralley supports two kinds of paid transactions:

  • Club subscriptions: recurring membership fees that a club or organizer pays to Club Ralley. These are billed by Club Ralley.

  • Event registrations: one-time fees to join a paid Ralley or event hosted by a club. For these, Club Ralley facilitates the payment on the host's behalf, passes the payment to the host club, and retains a service fee. We use Stripe's connected-account features to route these payments.

While your account is active, we keep a record of your transactions, including the date, amount, and what each payment was for, so that you can view your payment history in the app and so we can provide support and handle refunds and disputes. This in-app transaction history is part of your account and is removed when you delete your account, as described in Section 16. The authoritative financial records for your payments are held by Stripe, our payment processor, which retains them under its own privacy policy and applicable legal, tax, and payment-security obligations.

Club Ralley does not receive or store your full payment card number. Stripe processes and stores payment card information according to its own privacy policy and applicable payment-security standards.

13. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our website or application may use cookies, analytics tools, and similar technologies to understand how users interact with our Services, improve functionality, monitor performance, and improve the user experience.

Our analytics may associate usage information with account identifiers, such as your user ID and email address, so we can understand how features are used and improve them. We may also use aggregated or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify individual users for analytics, research, and business purposes.

14. Communications

We may communicate with you by email, text message (SMS), push notification, and in-app messages, including about:

  • Your account

  • Security updates

  • Product updates

  • Beta testing

  • Events

  • Community announcements

You may opt out of promotional communications by following unsubscribe instructions or adjusting your notification settings on your device or in the app. Standard message and data rates may apply to text messages. We may still send you non-promotional messages about your account, security, or transactions.

15. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including:

  • Accessing your personal information

  • Correcting inaccurate information

  • Requesting deletion of your information

  • Requesting information about how your data is used

  • Managing privacy settings

To request access, correction, or deletion of your information, contact us at team@clubralley.com.

16. Account Deletion and Data Retention

You can delete your account at any time directly in the app, under Profile, then Edit Profile, then Delete Account. You may also request deletion by contacting us at the email address in Section 21.

When you delete your account, we remove the personal information associated with it, including your profile, your athlete information, content you have posted, Ralleys you host, your connections, and your account login credentials.

While your account is active, we keep your information for as long as needed to provide the Services. After your account is deleted, we remove or anonymize your personal information, except where we are required or reasonably need to retain certain information for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes. The in-app record of your transactions is removed when your account is deleted; the underlying payment records are held by Stripe, our payment processor, under its own retention obligations, and Club Ralley does not keep a separate copy after your account is deleted.

Some information may persist for a limited time in routine backups and in the systems of the third-party providers described in Section 11, according to their own retention practices, before it is deleted in the ordinary course.

17. Children's Privacy

Club Ralley is not intended for children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information.

18. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information.

However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

19. Third-Party Services

Club Ralley may contain integrations, links, or connections to third-party services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party services, and we encourage users to review third-party privacy policies before using those services.

20. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we may provide additional notice as required by law. The updated version will include a revised "Last Updated" date.
