Kiko Hidalgo, number 25, on the ball for Bucknell soccer

Keeping our Senior Spotlight series going with Bucknell Men’s Soccer captain, Francisco “Kiko” Hidalgo!

From overcoming injuries to leading the Bison as team captain, Kiko’s soccer career has been about much more than what happens on the field. For him, it’s the friendships, teammates, and connections that make the game so special.

As he looks ahead to a fifth year of soccer, a master’s in Sport Management, and a future in sport diplomacy, Kiko isn’t done with the game just yet.

“Being part of a team has taught me the importance of camaraderie, friendships, and leadership.”
“What I love most about soccer is the family and lifelong connections you build along the way.”

What does Club Ralley mean to you?

“It’s a chance to stay connected to the people that have made my time at Bucknell so special. I hope to attend events and stay in touch with as many people as I can.”

What are your plans upon graduation?

“Graduating early, and playing my 5th year at another school. Completing my master’s in Sport Management. Eventually working in Sport Diplomacy!”
